Norwood Open Space Vision Plan

The Norwood Open Space Vision Plan was an unusual combination of an Environmental Resource Inventory and a Vision Plan for what the community would like to see happen in the last few large areas of open space within the Borough.  The community had recently come into ownership of two largest remaining undeveloped tracts of land in the Borough and had not come to a consensus as to the appropriate use and development of the properties.  Our firm did a resource assessment and through public input sessions and a walk of the properties identified the opportunities and constraints for each property.  The document also included strategies for reaching the shared goals of the community and funding resources available for their implementation.
