Hudson River Waterfront Walkway

Heyer, Gruel & Associates was the lead consultant in preparing an Implementation Plan for the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway. The primary goal of the Implementation Plan was to identify the obstacles to completing the Walkway and clearly define solutions necessary to overcome the obstacles. In order to successfully accomplish this goal, the approach focused on a meaningful and extensive public participation and outreach process. The public participation process was key to developing a consensus plan, which enables the construction of the Walkway to proceed on a “fast track.”
