Franklin Township Housing Authority

Heyer, Gruel & Associates has extensive experience in affordable housing and housing related issues. Combined with our Urban Design experience, HGA is also able to develop concept plans for housing authorities.In Franklin Township, Somerset County, HGA developed a concept plan that provided for the full upgrade of an existing housing project.

Utilizing the existing and paper-street patterns, a new and improved circulation system was developed and is being implemented today. Located adjacent to an existing park, the Plan also improved pedestrian connections that allow Family and Age-restricted housing units unimpeaded access to the park and what will be a new community center owned and operated by the Franklin Township Housing Authority.
